Seventeen trails along former mining railway lines and colliery tracks in the central basin: industrial heritage turned into green routes.
It is the largest family after the coast: 17 trails that reuse old mining railway lines and towpaths in the municipalities of Mieres, Langreo, Laviana, Aller, San Martín del Rey Aurelio, Sobrescobio and Caso.
The landscape combines recovered nature with remains of industrial heritage —pitheads, viaducts, mining villages— that give these trails an identity very different from the coastal or mountain ones.
