Where the data comes from

The technical data (municipalities, distance, gradient, difficulty, use type, coordinates) come from the Asturias Greenways Catalogue, published by the Regional Ministry for the Environment of the Principality of Asturias in 2011 — you can check the official catalogue PDF (in Spanish). The narrative descriptions in each entry are our own writing, not a copy of the catalogue.

Our commitment to honesty

• We do not invent distances, times or accessibility data: if the catalogue does not specify them, we say so explicitly.
• Times marked as "estimated" are our own calculation at a gentle pace, never an official figure in disguise.
• We do not publish lists of businesses or services with invented names: if the data is missing, we mark it as pending or ask readers to write in.
• The official catalogue dates from 2011: we always recommend checking the current state of the signage before setting off.

What is still missing

We are progressively adding the official route in GPX format (from the SITPA-IDEAS/IDEE geoportal cartography, under CC-BY 4.0 licence), our own photography of each greenway and more translated content. If something is missing or you spot an error, write to us.
