In Mieres, the La Pereda – Peñamiel trail forms part of the Principality of Asturias’ official greenway network. It is 4.3 km long. It is for pedestrian use only.
The route goes from La Pereda - Lloredo - Túnel final de senda. Its low difficulty and gentle gradients make it suitable for families, with no previous hiking experience needed.
It is promoted by Local council, within the Asturias Greenways Catalogue (2011). As across the whole network, it is worth checking the current state of the signage before setting off: more than a decade has passed since the official cataloguing.

What to bring
