The Pendueles – Llanes trail runs through the municipality of Llanes, within the Asturias Greenways Catalogue. It is 13.7 km long. It allows both pedestrian and cycle-touring use (BTT), on a surface designed for both.
The route goes from Pendueles - Playa de Vidiago - Bufones de Arenillas - Desembocadura del río Purón- Andrín - Mirador de La Boriza - Cué - Llanes. Its high difficulty —unusual in the greenways catalogue— demands good fitness and mountain footwear; it is not a trail for beginners.
It is promoted by Principality of Asturias, within the Asturias Greenways Catalogue (2011). As across the whole network, it is worth checking the current state of the signage before setting off: more than a decade has passed since the official cataloguing.

What to bring
- Comfortable closed shoes; if the difficulty is moderate or high, trekking footwear is better.
- Plenty of water: most greenways have no fountains along the whole route.
- Sun or rain protection depending on the season — Asturian weather changes fast.
- If you are cycling, check your brakes: some greenway sections have short slopes.
