The route goes from Taramundi - Mazonovo - Área de descanso - Desvío Cascada de Os Esquíos - Os Esquíos - As Veigas - Os Teixois - Os Esquíos -. Its moderate difficulty asks a little more fitness than the simplest coastal or riverside trails, though it is still far from a mountain route.

What to bring

  • Comfortable closed shoes; if the difficulty is moderate or high, trekking footwear is better.
  • Plenty of water: most greenways have no fountains along the whole route.
  • Sun or rain protection depending on the season — Asturian weather changes fast.
