In Ribadedeva, the Bustio – Pendueles trail forms part of the Principality of Asturias’ official greenway network. It is 21.7 km long. It can be walked or ridden by mountain bike, on treated surfaces.
The route goes from Bustio - Monasterio de Tina - Mirador de El Picu - Pimiango - La Franca - Mirador de Sierra Plana de La Borbolla - Buelna - Playa de Buelna - Pendueles. Its high difficulty —unusual in the greenways catalogue— demands good fitness and mountain footwear; it is not a trail for beginners.
It is promoted by Principality of Asturias, within the Asturias Greenways Catalogue (2011). As across the whole network, it is worth checking the current state of the signage before setting off: more than a decade has passed since the official cataloguing.

The trail runs through Ribadedeva, Llanes, between Bustio - Monasterio de Tina - Mirador de El Picu - Pimiango - La Franca - Mirador de Sierra Plana de La Borbolla - Buelna - Playa de Buelna - Pendueles.

What to bring
