La Guía – La Camocha is one of the greenways catalogued by the Principality of Asturias in the municipality of Gijón. It is 7.7 km + 3.5 km long. It allows both pedestrian and cycle-touring use (BTT), on a surface designed for both.
The route goes from La Guía (Gijón) - Área de descanso de Viesques - Confluencia de los ríos Piles y Llandones - La Camocha. Its low difficulty and gentle gradients make it suitable for families, with no previous hiking experience needed.
It is promoted by State, within the Asturias Greenways Catalogue (2011). As across the whole network, it is worth checking the current state of the signage before setting off: more than a decade has passed since the official cataloguing.

What to bring
- Comfortable closed shoes; if the difficulty is moderate or high, trekking footwear is better.
- Plenty of water: most greenways have no fountains along the whole route.
- Sun or rain protection depending on the season — Asturian weather changes fast.
- If you are cycling, check your brakes: some greenway sections have short slopes.
